Yes for the first, no for the second, I'm afraid. As far as I could trace
this, it's a win98 problem. We alsho have a box or two that won't play with
the other boxes.. For one it went away as I configured samba to be a wins
server, the other one still keeps seperate.
Write a bug report to MS.. but get a fake mail address first. :)
