[Samba] DOS Attributes for folders?

Hi,

On WinXP the network neighbourhood saves links as folders that contain
two files: desktop.ini and target.lnk. Those links only work if the
folder has the "system" attribute. Now this is a problem since the user
profiles are saved on the samba PDC. "map system" works fine for files,
but how can I preserve that attribute (and probably hidden as well) for
folders?
Guess there isn't something like "hide files" for the "system" attribute
with support for matching the full path, is there?

Is support Linux Extended Attributed for such things available or
somehow planned?
