[Samba] Dynamic discovery of MS Authentication Servers

Help!!

Could anyone tell me a magic way to find an Authentication Server for a 
domain?

The background: imagine a WAN that has literally hundreds of MS led 
Domains all strictly managed to NT Clients, Imagine that Users log into 
various Domains depending on their location and duties performed, How 
would one go about discovering the Authentication Server on a Linux system?
