[Samba] URGENT HELP SIMPLE

I have samba running with SWAT. When I first start up my linux I can connect
to the other computer (xp) with samba. Later it starts asking me for a
username
and pass. Which normally should be no problem. I have tried all the user and
pass I use for linux and have repeated many times. I know my linux pass is
good because if I reboot it works just fine to get into linux. This should
be very simple but I can't fugure it out.

SWAT has passwords area and I have added some there but they don't work
either
