[Samba] Question on configuration

Hola,

 I am new to samba, and have just compiled and installed version 2.2.5 on an
IBM AIX 4.3 system. I am having the following situation:

  I can see the new Unix server from my windows machine, but can not connect
to the share that I've defined. I don't want the SAMBA server to serve as a
PDC, so I would like to define exactly the users that need to connect to the
Unix server from windows, but do not know exactly how to do this. I have a
unix user 'cognos' with which I can connect to the Unix machine. I have
defined the following share:

[cognos]
   comment = Cognos Directories
   path = /cognos/bppr
   valid users = cognos
   admin users = cognos s670587
   public = no
   writable = yes
   printable = no
   create mask = 0765

  And would like to see this share with this user at least. How do I create
user access in SAMBA? How do I give access to users?

Thanks in advance,
Jose A. Resto
