[Samba] invisible print jobs

If you're printing to the "samba printer port", you have to
manually refresh...I think auto status updates are provided
through the backchannel, which isn't working AFAIK.

    i've been using samba 2.2.5 with an windows XP, and noticed that print
jobs submitted to the (samba) print server don't appear in the printer
properties page; is this normal? It seems to be the case on all win32
clients.
