no that is not normal

it seems strange to me that your profiles share sees nobody while the
netlogon sees vberry.

what is the smb.conf definition of your profiles share?

mine looks like this
[profiles]
        path = /home/xp_profiles
        read only = No
        create mask = 0600
        directory mask = 0700
        csc policy = disable
        share modes = No
