[Samba] 2.2.6 error

I cannot seem to find config.log .. Ran updatedb but nothing.

I downloaded the tar.gz file twice ...but both times I get this error
....

Your downloaded source archive may be incomplete...

You should post the relevant parts of your config.log to the list.
