to a windows 2000 PC.

using the swat tool I can see that all connections are
being made by the nobody user, which is specified as
the guest account in the conf file.

How can I get samba to request a logon when I connect
to one of the shares, so I can enter the unix user and
password, and how can I get write access to create a
file using the PC ?

Your urgent help would be really appreciated

Thanks
