[Samba] can't add w2K client to samba domain

Is the samba acting as a WINS server.  If so do you have:

wins support = Yes
		I don't like WINs! Don't know why .... Perhaps because I'm working on a
mid range Novell network with VLANs!
		I try to do my WINS settings.
Watch these dhcp settings:
option netbios-name-servers     192.168.7.10;
option netbios-node-type 2;


and is the client (W2k) machine have the correct IP / WINS settings.
		The machine has the right IP-settings. <- DHCP?
Are they on the same subnet?
		Yes

Is this the first machine you are adding to the domain?
		Yes
What version of Samba do you have?
		2.2.3
What service pack (if any) do you have on the client (W2k) machine?
		SP2
