[Samba] Mapped drives gets disconnected ?

SDAZ> I've seen that problem here with Windows 2000 SP2. I'm thinking Microsoft did something to break the connections.  I've reduced the problem here by makeing the deadtime in smb.conf to less then

try this:
Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
Locate and then click the following key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanworkstation\parameters
On the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the following registry value:
Value name: EnableDownLevelLogOff
Data type: REG_DWORD
Radix: Hexadecimal
Value data: 1
Quit Registry Editor.
