[Samba] Server is getting slow

Dear Sirs,

I am working with a Suse Linux 6.3 server Samba and Windows 98
workstations
(appx 8-10). After a few days (1 week) the server is getting real slow.
Server is 40 gb Harddisk, 256 MB Ram, everywhere 100 MB networkcards,
100 MB intelligent Hub.

When I reboot the network is at normal speed again.

What can be the problem? Can you give me any suggestions please
