[Samba] Samba and WinXP connection problem

Hi All Folks

I encountered difficulty in connecting a WinXP box to Samba Server.  Ping 
on WinXP showed connected and on Samba server also showed connecting.

"cygwin" worked connecting WinXP and Samba Server

RH7.3
Samba-2.2.3a
Connection - via a crossover cable
On WinXP - Shared folder under C:\

Server
(It is a LTSP Server)
name of computer=server.ltsp
password=yes
IP add=192.168.0.254

Workgroup=SEC

WinXP
(It works as Diskless Workstation and Standalone workstation as well)
name of computer=M40G
password=no
IP add=192.168.0.1
