[Samba] samba 3.0 ldapsam

Hello People,

(new to the list). I have Samba 3.0 alpha-latest and I configured ldapsam, 
which I did before succesfully with 2.2.3a. testparm runs ok. daemons start 
ok, but on "smbpasswd -a user" I get "ldap not detected at configure time, 
ldapsam not availalble!"
However LDAP is running including samba.schema I even ran "make clean" and 
compiled the whole thing again. No change. 
Anybody have a clue ?
