[Samba] Samba on SCO Unix

I'm trying to run Samba on SCO Unix Openserver Version 5.  After
starting smbd and nmbd, I try to list the shares on the server by
running "smbclient -U% -L localhost" and I get the following error
message: "session setup failed: ERRSRV - ERRbadpw (Bad password -
name/password pair in a Tree Connect or Session Setup are invalid.)"

Has anyone seen this before on SCO or maybe has a list of what the error
responses mean?
