[Samba] Fw: Samba and Windows XP, 30 second lockup

I once experienced a ~30 second delay in retrieving files from a win2k host
 and a win98 client...
I just immediately disliked windows2k and used linux/samba as a fileserver...
I would assume that it is a windows problem (of cource! ;) )... Try the service
packs, export a samba share and use that...
Just my 2 cents...
