[Samba] RE: SWAT not working, can't authenticate

I finally got SWAT working:
1 - I had to compile samba 3.0 with --with-pam option
2 - I had to copy .../packaging/RedHat/samba.pamd to /etc/pam.d/samba
This really ought to be documented somewhere but I sure couldn't find it
and I looked pretty hard!

Try checking in the /etc/pam.d directory that authorize the use of swat.
