[Samba] W2K Clients intermittantly unable to connect to a samba PDC

Hi,

I have a samba PDC running under RH7.3 supporting about 12 windows 2000 
clients.  Normally all these clients can connect to the domain and work 
fine.  However, each client, at different times twice or three times a 
week will be unable to log into the domain.  The client will get an 
error message saying that the domian is not available, after about 7 or 
8 tries at logging in the client will eventually gain access.  While the 
is occuring to one client, there are others that are already logged and 
working away just fine.  The network seems to remain up at all times and 
is not being overloaded.  The nmbd and smbd damons are up and running 
whilst these failed logins are occuring.  Has anyone come  across this 
problem before or know of anything I could try in order to fix this?
