Nope.  No RPM.  This is just for testing.  I don't want to imply a new 
release by putting RPMS on the ftp servers.

So the answer is yes, you will need to get the source tar ball 
and patch it.  However you can easily build the RPM by 

	root# cd samba-2.2.4/packaging/RedHat
	root# sh makerpms.sh

See the other packaging subdirectories for other platforms.
But I only maintain the RedHat packaging stuff so I can't
really vouch for the state of the other packaging files.
