[Samba] "disk full" error message (again, again)

Thanks for the idea Don, I thought we were onto something with this one. 
Seemed very plausible.

No effect though.

I found that Mozilla and Excel can write into the directory, before and 
after Word fails. Anybody know much about the M$ API calls for writing 
files and what the difference is between the way Excel creates/writes a 
file and how Word does it?
