Hi all,
       My server is giving the following error
[2002/05/22 17:46:31, 0] tdb/tdbutil.c:(492)
  tdb(/usr/local/samba-2.2.4/var/locks/connections.tdb): tdb_oob len
122904 beyond eof at 696
[2002/05/22 17:46:31, 0] smbd/connection.c:(61)
  yield_connection: tdb_delete for name failed with error IO Error.
[2002/05/22 17:46:31, 3] smbd/server.c:(495)
  Server exit (normal exit)

The system running samba v 2.2.4 is a Tru64 4.0F pk 6 version and it has
the following
global conf settings

;   config file = /usr/local/samba/lib/smb.conf.%m      #
   status = yes
   security = user
      server string = Samba server (%v,%h)
   load printers = yes
   printcap name = /etc/printcap
   max open files = 4086
   log level = 1
;   log level = 20
# use a separate log file for each machine that connects
   log file = /usr/local/samba/var/smbd.log.%m
   max log size = 500
   password level = 0
   read prediction = yes

# This option will typically be used to tune your Samba server for
optimal
# performance for your local network. There is no way that Samba can
know
# what the optimal parameters are for your net, so you must experiment
and
# choose them yourself. We strongly suggest you read the appropriate
# documentation for your operating system first (perhaps "man
setsockopt" will help).

   socket options = TCP_NODELAY IPTOS_LOWDELAY
   read raw = yes # Default
   write raw = yes # Default
   oplocks = yes                      # Default
   max xmit = 65535                   # Default
   dead time = 15                     # Default is 0
   getwd cache = yes
   lpq cache = 30
   share modes = yes
   locking = yes
   strict locking = yes
   keepalive = 30
   short preserve case = yes
   preserve case = yes
   case sensitive = no
   mangled names = no
;   username map = /usr/local/samba/lib/users.map

I had to put the max file option as the server refused to be restarted.
Any pointers , It will be great If someone could point me in right
direction.

Thanx in advance
yogesh
