I've been putting:
        oplocks = no
        level2 oplocks = no
        kernel oplocks = no
in my global section to stop this and file corruption.

problems deleting files from the server that has a samba share.it says the files
can't be deleted...it seems that the file is being locked...if i have oplocks
inserted in the smb.conf file, will it help? is there any way to remove the
restriction manually so there's no need to restart the server in order to delete
the file? the server is running on suse 6.1
