When I used the rpm's on RH 7.2 I got this in the logs and whenever I
ran a smb related command (smbclient, testparam are the ones I tested).
load_client_codepage: filename /var/tmp/samba/etc/codepages/codepage.437
does not exist.
load_unicode_map: filename /var/tmp/samba/etc/codepages/unicode_map.850
does not exist.
load_unicode_map: filename
/var/tmp/samba/etc/codepages/unicode_map.ISO8859-1 does not exist.
It looks like it's trying to find the codepages in
/var/tmp/samba/etc/.... instead of /etc/....
Is that a packaging problem? I was hoping to deploy this at a remote
site next week (and I mean _remote_). Compiling isn't really an
option. So I may need to use 2.2.3a instead, unless the rpm's get
fixed.
Thanks,
Dan
