[Samba] Samba and PostgreSQL?

Cheers to all list members!

Anyone know about Samba's functionality with PostgreSQL?
I'd like to maintain the user DB in PostgreSQL database,
and Samba would obtain the user ID's & such from there.
Is this possible at all? Probably it would still need
the smbpasswd-file?
