[Samba] Domain Authentication failure

Hi Everybody
I am facing problem with samba server and windows 2000 domain.
Iam trying to add my samba server to windows 2000 domain and got 
succeded.
and i configured the smb.conf for
security=domain and given password server as domain controller 
FQDN.
but when iam trying to access the samba server.
iam getting the error, authentication failed.

I confiured /etc/hosts file /etc/resolv.conf

Can anybody Help me
