[Samba] nasty

Any host attached to an Ethernet Network that is deffective or
misconfigured can cause 'havoc' on that ethernet network, effectively
preventing other hosts from functioning, or even causing other hosts to
behave strangely. There is nothing particular to Samba that would create
such problems.

In fact, Samba is specificly designed to interact with Windows Networks
from a Non-Windows platform, as such, I think it performs the job
admireably.

hi,

is it true that Samba can cause some sort of chaos on a windows network and
'damage' it? If so is the bug fixed? Or if not under what conditions would
it 'damage' and how?

thankyou for your support
