Dear All,

Unix samba (2.2.3a) server running HP-UX 10.20 is listed under Network
Neighbourhood but reports the following error message when trying to connect
via MS Windows 98 (4.10.2222 A):
'\\server-name is not accessible, the computer or share name cannot be
found. Make sure you typed it correctly and try again.'

However there is no problem connecting via NT version 4.0 (Service Pack 6)
and Windows 95 vers 4.0.
Does anybody know if this indicates a service pack problem with Windows 98?

Please note Samba is set to using encrypted passwords.

Thanks

Amber
