Err, yeah, sure. That was my original suggestion, but some people found 
it more convenient for users to be able to enter there own filenames, 
that's why the cronjob jumped in in the first place.

You can; one of the samba substitutions is only valid with the print 
command option, and specifies the filename of the spooled file...
