That's great Jeremy, that would spare me the patching up on every release.
But do you know why I can't delete/rename files with diacritical characters
in it. In my smb.conf I have:
client code page = 850
character set = ISO8859-1
The names on the unix server correspond to the names on the windows client,
so the mapping seems to work, but when I try do delete/rename a file like
één.txt I get a no go...
