Hello,

Does anyone has used nutcracker version of executable on windows nt and access file using
samba 2.2.2 version on unix server.

I have windows nt server 4.0 acting as pdc. and samba 2.2.2 is installed on solaris 2.6 and
is the member of this domain. Other windows nt 4.0 workstations are also member of this domain.

I want to access unix file from nt m/c.
When I write a native window program (using visual C++) to open a file on unix server, everything
works fine.

But when I use a nutcracker version of executable for same program using mks tool kit on this windows nt
workstation and try to open the same unix file, it says permission denied.

The samba log file looks like this:
The samba log says when trying to open a file

Looks like some problem with acl.

Does anyone has any insight about how to get this nt acl, please let me know.
Any info will be helpful.

Thanks,

Lata Singh
