Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has conquered this problem and how. I have a FreeBSD 4.5 box running Samba 2.2.2 serving up
DHCP, Samba shares, printers, and eventually mail(Sendmail w/POP3 and IMAP). I have a new W2K server that will have to
run a application for our company. The problem I have how do I synchronize password between the two boxes or do I. It
seems that Windbind coupled with PAM would work, although it looks like just on Linux not on freebsd. Do I use Samba/PAM
or Samba/Kerbos and redirect to the W2K server for authentication? Does anybody have this working with Active Directory? I
have to believe someone has solved this. Any pointer would be greatly appreciated, as I have scoured the man pages of
samba as well as searched the FreeBSD and Samba newsgroups, and am still at a loss

  Thanks,
