security=server has *bad idea* written all over it.  I would highly
recommend changing this to 'security = domain' (and joining the
domain).  The problem is that with 'security=server' we must maintain
the connection to the PDC, if that is dropped (like becouse the
connection was idle - I think out keepalive stuff might be broken too)
the we can't authenticate again.
