[Samba] Some users can't log in -- server shows username as"nobody"

No in my case.  There was no ldap in this install.  We had switch a novell
network over to linux/samba on a weekend with 50+ users/machines.  Of course
during the weekend testing everyone on the team was a member of adm and
everything ran smooth as silk.  Then the first non-adm member came in on
Monday morning.  We spent a lot of time tracking down why we could log on
and not others.  Of course we played with permissions on folders and the
settings in the conf file, but the only answer we found was to add everyone
to adm.
