[Samba] smbmount in scripts

Greetings,

Thanks for samba! 
I'm trying to use smbmount in a script. 

Setting and exporting PASSWORD within the script and unsetting 
PASSWORD when I'm done seems to work ok... but I'm still prompted for 
a password. 

I can just hit the carriage return and the script will proceed at 
this point, but this makes the script unable to be run unattended.

How can I fix this?
