Hi,
I have two unix machines that are being accessed by windows desktops
running both NT and W2K.
On both NT and W2K when they are only connected to the unix server which
is running 2.0.10, browsing is as normal ie no appricable delay, but
when they have a mapping established onto the unix server that is
running 2.2.3a the delay in browsing is approximatly 10 seconds.
This delay isn't confined to browsing the unix server running 2.2.3a,
but effects all browsing from the machine that has the share establised.
ie all it needs is for a connection to be established onto the 2.2.3a
machine.
Has anyone seen this ? are there any solutions ?
Any help appriciated.
