[Samba] W2K-Profiles

I know it's a Windows-question, maybe can anyone
help me too.

I have samba 2.2.1a and W2K-SP1.
Profiles are stored in /samba/profiles.
The clients have no restrictions.
Now I create special restrictions with "gpedit.msc"
(NTUSER.DAT) for some users and copy it to /samba/profiles/%U
(and rename to NTUSER.MAN).
But after login, the local profile are not overwritten from
the serverlocated profile ?
I don't understand how profiles work ???
