N.B.
If the Windows share is on a Win2000 system, then
mounting a share as "guest" probably won't work unless
 
   username="guest" 

is part of the options string. 

Use of "guest" probably isn't a great idea for
security reasons except in certain situations but
that's a discussion for another thread.
