not sure if it works under 95 but on NT you can do:

net use * /delete /yes

to clear all mappings.

Yes, If I disconnect the folders from the client there isnt any
problem with shutdown. Is there any other workaround? Is it possible
to use a script to first disconnect the folders and the shutdown?
