hi Mark,

never tried to compile samba --with-ldapsam on Solaris.
Instead I've tried to compile samba--with-ldapsam on netbsd-1.5.2 && 
freebsd 4.5.
Without any success. The only platform on which it is runnuning smoothly 
is linux/intel.
I've reported this to Gerald Carter.
