[Samba] Re: windows 98 remote configuration

Hello, thanks for your answer.

i'm connecting the remote box with samba and the windows machine via the
internet, i
don't plan to use it a lot rigth now, and i'm going to check it out the VPN
solution.
However, what's the  configuration for the samba server and windows machine
if i just use SAMBA ?

 1) with is the configuration for the windows 98 machine if i want to see
the
linux box via the neighborhood ?

 2) do i need to run a wins server in the linux box ? wich considerations do
 i need to keep in mind ?
