[Samba] help.. samba is slow

I installed/compiled Samba 2.2.1 on AIX ver. 4.3.3. it is running ok.

It took 189 minutes to copy a file (outlook.pst) 404 MB to the AIX f50
server .

I modified the smb.conf file, and it did not help.

Your input is really appriciated.
