We keep getting the following error whenever a user tries to access too many
files on our Samba server (2.2.2).

[2002/06/28 12:54:23, 0] lib/debug.c:reopen_logs(337)
Unable to open new log file /usr/local/samba/var/log.wks-miller: Too many
open files
[2002/06/28 12:57:23, 0] lib/debug.c:reopen_logs(337)
Unable to open new log file /usr/local/samba/var/log.wks-miller: Too many
open files

I know there is a limit of 1024 descriptors for our Sun Solaris 2.8 server,
but what is the answer to this problem? Based on previous message strings I
understood the 64-bit version of Samba was able to take care of this, so I
compiled it and got it running but when a user tried to authenticate against
our Domain Controller the log files showed the following error:

[2002/06/28 08:18:13, 0] smbd/password.c:domain_client_validate(1554)
domain_client_validate: could not fetch trust account password for domain
FOO

Any suggestions are most welcome.
