you have to add the machine account like: useradd -s /bin/false -d /dev/null
machineaccount$ 
							passwd -l
machineaccount$
							smbpasswd -a -m
machineaccount

have you done this?

Hello people,

I've been reading along and found that document... however I still have some
trouble, which I do not really understand.

The things I have done:
- on the PDC I have deleted the name of my samba server and recreated it.
- next on the linux server I did: smbpasswd -r stromboli -j actuera.nl

I then get a message that goes like this: root at intranet:/var/log/samba#
