Hi, I have the same problem as Osman, running samba 2.2.5.

The problem occurs when I try to lookup a user in our main AD-tree with
~20k users. 

Running "wbinfo -n <username>" resolves the name to sid just fine, but when
I try f.x "id <DOMAIN>\\<username>" winbindd segfaults.

Trying to resolve the usernames in other, smaller domains (either standalone
or trusted from our main tree) works just fine. This leads me to
belive that the problems have something to do with the size of the AD-tree.
