[Samba] several MS Domains

Hi all,
as a MS dummy I have no idea on how the password validation actually works. What I have is a simple Samba configuration: one shared drive, one MS Domain Controller (Security = Server) and some mapped users.
Now people want to access that drive who belong to different MS Domains.
My MS admins told me somehing like this:
If the user selects a different Domain the request will be forwarded to the according Domain Controller...
The question: is the user's Domain part of the authentication process anyway or do I have to use different "include = "s or ... ?
