[Samba] samba 2.2.5 vs win2k sp2

hi all
i have a problem with the new version of samba- after upgrading to
2.2.5 (i am using debian unstable, and the deb version is 2.2.5-1)
from 2.2.4, all machines running w2k sp2 suddenly stopped seeing the
server- after a 'net use' i get a error message 53, that it can't find
the host. tcp communication is working between those stations, and on
nt4.0 sp6 everythng is working just fine.
