[Samba] Kernel Oops with smbfs - is there a patch?

Hi,

Mounting smbfs from NT3.51 to linux 2.4.18 (SuSE 8.0).

I've been seeing Oops's reading directories containing names with certain characters
in them. It seems that this has been fixed in kernel 2.4.19-pre10 but I'm not happy
running a prepatch kernel on a production server. Can anyone point me to a patch
for 2.4.18 which just fixes the smbfs bug?
