Hi,
I fixed the problem myself by increasing the LANMAN registry parameter
'IRPStackSize' to the maximum of 20 (dec). All works perfectly now!

Maybe the server is actually out of memory / have run into some per-share
limit someone has set?
Do you get the same error if you connect with smbclient?
