[Samba] Another newbie question...

Question:

Do you need secure (user/password) logins or would you be happy with
insecure (guest) logins?

For the latter, in your global section of smb.conf:
guest account = ftp
guest ok = Yes             
security = SHARE   
Make sure your share doesn't have anything which might override these
settings.
