[Samba] Opposite of Samba (Anti-Samba?)

Yes, the samba client does this (i.e. smbclient).  Depending on what 
exactly you want to do, you may also find winbind useful.  Have a read 
in the various docs that come with the Samba source and I think you'll 
find exactly what you are looking for.
